100 Miles Trailrunning nonstop  -  12,641 feet of climb

Juli/August 31/01, 2010

Sibbesse in Germany

The upcoming STUNT 100 mile run in 2010 is the fourth season for this awesome event.

Again, many ultrarunners will be eager to participate. Given the average drop-out rate of 40-50 percent some have unfinished business here. Others may have heard by hearsay of that scenic and well-organized event in the mountainous region here in northern Germany.

Nonetheless, in order to keep the race as beautiful (and flawless) as possible and to
guarantee the most efficient service for every participant it is still limited to 25 runners.
We apply the first-come, first-served rule, but in addition, we maintain a waiting list for a greater number of runners.
Please check “Information 2008” for details.

To get a good impression of its (sometimes wild) beauty, you should definitely have a look to our photos taken during the race in 2007.
It shows that most of the run takes place on grim, overgrown trails and on dirt roads. By the way, there are some three thousand meters of climb to gain. But don’t expect the 10 percent on paved ground to be a recreational jog.

Especially in case you are a rookie on the ultralong distances, you will have to come well-prepared to cope with some very special experiences. Those might not always be the cosiest ones – but anyway, who cares. Running lessons learnt the hard way, that is what you are looking for, aren’t you?. Staying the course for one hundred miles of solitude, at worst, struggling with your inner demons, suffering from blisters and being afraid of getting lost, that is what ultarunning is about.

Come hell or high water, you will love the STUNT 100. And don’t worry too much, a dedicated staff is keeping an eye on you. We won’t let you down. In the end, even after the worst of experiences, every participant left the place in cheerful spirits.
